Jihyo is a South Korean singer and dancer, born on February 1, 1997, in Seoul, South Korea. She is best known as the leader and main vocalist of the popular girl group Twice. Twice is a nine-member girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality show "Sixteen" in 2015.

Jihyo made her debut with Twice on October 20, 2015, with the release of their first single album "The Story Begins" and the title track "Like OOH-AHH." Since then, she has gained recognition for her powerful vocals, charismatic stage presence, and leadership skills within the group.
